4 Minute Warning - Arthouse Short Film

Creating this music video for a competition was such a fun challenge given we had about 20ish days to come up with a concept, shoot, and edit it to deliver before today (we actually were able to submit two days earlier on Saturday). We made an homage to horror films of the 70s and 80s, but also keep it fun to fit the song. Fingers crossed to hear something positive, but we're happy with the result regardless.

Lot's of editing done for various projects by @behindthelenspaf today. Talent Relations Ozzie was hard at work, too, keeping up morale inbetween naps.
We have draft 2 of our entry for a music video competition done.
The Sanctity now has a trailer as well as Claustrophobia. Just in time for their screenings at GenCon over the summer as part of the film festival. Those trailers can be seen on our website www.poisonarrowfilms.com. Upcoming screenings of our shorts can be found there as well.

The music video will be done by this weekend after tonight's pick-up shots. Thanks to all who helped in the project so far. You'll be able to see it soon!!

Thursday’s production meeting before the shoot this weekend was productive. We went over all the variables, the expectations, and what will constitute a great shoot experience for our 20+ extras. We also bought new lighting as this will be an exterior night shoot. We should have plenty of lighting to get some damn good images. Ozymandias helped too. #indiefilmmaking #preproduction

Flashback from our short that kicked us off post pandemic, State Trooper. This was shot in negative degree weather in a Chicagoland winter. It was mostly run and gun as the script allowed the freedom to improvise a lot of the montage you see here. It played really well when it was screened for a live audience as a finalist nominee at the Austin Micro Film Festival. You can check out the whole short and others in our Youtube channel.
