Ben Locke is a Queer, Chicago artist in both theatre and film. He wears many hats as an actor, director, writer, casting director and producer. Ben enjoys doing cool stuff with cool people! You can find him on IG at ben10locke, as well as some of his work on YouTube.
The Poison Arrow team had the privilege of meeting and working with Ben on the set of Strange Creatures of the Adult Wilderness. Due to his busy schedule Directing, Writing and Acting for both stage and film, it took a while before we were all in the same place. We finally had an opening in our schedules to collaborate and filmed Claustrophobia in approximately four hours.
We are always delighted to see his work. Whether it's a play he wrote like Rooted, his own award winning short film Taper, or something else he is acting in like Pets. Ben is an extremely talented individual with an extensive history with stage and film. We can't wait to continue consuming his work and look forward to any and all future collaborations.
